Welcome to
Yvette Addo Counselling & Psychotherapy

Despite our ability to take on most of  life’s challenges, we can all have times when our normal coping mechanisms become overwhelmed.  Clients have found that I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore and reflect on whatever issues or problems they might bring.   Whether the trigger for seeking help is a one-off event or simply feeling ‘stuck’ in one’s life, I believe that counselling or psychotherapy can offer us the opportunity to gain a better understanding of how we function in the world and through self-reflection, increase our ability to cope with whatever life presents, as well as enriching our enjoyment of life and relationships with others.

At times like these it can be good to find someone to talk to, maybe someone who is outside of your immediate circle of family or friends.

This is where I, as a counsellor, can help. I have experience of working with individuals (adults and young adults) in both short- and long-term therapy.

If this sounds like something that might help you, then please do get in touch for an initial appointment. I offer one to one counselling for adults in Clerkenwell - Central London. I also offer a counselling service in Islington, North London and  Queens Park, North West London.

British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My work is bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
